Santa Margarita Infrasound Array (SMIAR): Temecula, California

Installed in 2010, this off-grid array consists of nine MB2000 sensors attached to porous hose. Most sites were carved out of Chaparral ranging in density and height from 1 to 20 feet high. Data from this site are streamed back to the L2A lab in real time (< 1 s latency) via the HPWREN. Click here for a site table.
