"Introduction of the Preliminary Study for IS15 & IS16" |
Abstract:
Signal Processing Department, North China Institute of Computing Technology conducted preliminary studies for IS15 and IS16 according to the commission’s technical requirements to locate an infrasound station, and selected the potential stations near the Treaty-designated coordinates. The article reports briefly the main works on preliminary study for IS15 and IS16 in 3 parts, including：
(i) Basic preparing works for selection of the potential locations;
(ii) preliminary site investigation on the selected potential locations; and
(iii) the process of the single-point-measurement on a potential location, and the analysis and conclusion about the influence of weather and of environment on this point.
The article also introduced relevant material guarantee conditions and the problems and difficulties in each phases.
