Abstract Title:
"Kazakhstan Infrasound Network" |
Abstract:
An infrasound network operates in Kazakhstan, being part of Institute of Geophysical Research of National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan . One of its stations, IS31 Aktyubinsk, is a component of IMS infrasound network, constructed by CTBTO. Moreover, other two infrasound stations, Borovoye and Kurchatov operate in Kazakhstan. They were constructed specially for registration of nuclear testing in the USSR and other countries before the SU collapse. Data concerning geometrical configuration and design of all the Kazakhstani infrasound stations are collected and summarized. Signals of different origin are processed and analyzed, including those from:
· quarry blast;
· spacecraft launchings ;
· frontal passage.
Their waveforms are demonstrated. Also, an example of a spacecraft launching recorded synchronously by two stations of the network is cited.
